Nikki Dean – TV Presenter
Nikki is a fun and fresh Entertainment and Lifestyle Presenter with extensive Live Studio Experience including ad-libbing and the use of open talkback and autocue. She is also a trained Broadcast Journalist.
With her Friendly and down to earth nature, boundless energy, sense of humour and ability to talk about practically anything it’s little wonder that Nikki Dean has proven to be a natural in front of the camera.
Live Breakfast Show Anchor
As Anchor of The Guardian Media’s Live Breakfast Show for two years she was lucky enough to meet and interview a whole host of famous faces and household names from the world of Entertainment and Sport, as well as some incredible members of the public (Channel M, Sky 203 & Virgin Media 878).
The Daily 3 hour show encompassed a mix of Topical News Items, Sport, Business and Health News, General Entertainment and Celebrity Interviews. Nikki’s Passion for the Entertainment world and Current Affairs mixed with her natural warmth made her perfect for the role, with an ability to talk intelligently about a wide range of topic areas, from the serious through to the downright silly with a real energy and enthusiasm.
Entertainment Reporter
Prior to this role Nikki was the Entertainment Reporter for the Channel, her dream role, out and about covering all the hottest events - interviewing celebrities, artists and musicians for a Daily News Bulletin, including live studio reports and a weekly evening Entertainment show, ‘City Life’. She has an enviable knowledge of the Entertainment world, especially Celebrity gossip and Fashion.
Her background in TV Production has certainly come in handy for the numerous on-location features she has self produced and directed including a weekly Cinema review, a series of seasonal Fashion and beauty items, family fun days out and a half hour Music Show on behalf of Danny McNamara, frontman of Indie band ‘Embrace’.
With a personal interest in health and fitness, including testing out all the latest exercise and beauty gadgets, Nikki was the obvious choice to front a Morning Magazine Show to be shown soon on a forthcoming Fitness Sky Channel.
